About PSACWA
Who we are, what we stand for and how the association is organised.
Who we are
Private Schools and Children Welfare Association (PSACWA) is a nationwide organisation of private schools. Its mission is to enhance the quality of private education, skilling up students and teachers in the delivery of high-quality education, and to work closely with central and state governments in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Over fifteen years the association has worked to understand the needs of private schools and to bring their concerns to the right forums. Many important matters affecting private schools, including issues connected with the Right to Education (RTE) Act, have been taken up through the collective efforts of its members.
Today the association reaches 642 districts through its state presidents, district teams and members. It has organised 86 programmes, recognised more than 1.60 lakh students of Classes 10 and 12 for their achievements, and honoured more than 1.55 lakh directors, principals, teachers and staff members for their contribution to education.
